We have found with many clients that gaining planning permission is the most important thing when developing however, at MSK Design we believe it is understanding your development potential first.

We understand the importance of good planning, and have a good understanding of local and national planning policies to support our proposals. Our aim is to get your application right the first time round. If not, we offer one free re-submission for any development that requires a minor alteration (note: for schemes that are recommended by us).

With all enquiries, we review each project upon its individual merit as no two developments can ever be the same. When preparing our schemes, we consider planning policy on a local and national level as part of our integrated approach to the design process, to ensure that our schemes are feasible.

At times we may need to push the boundaries of local policy in order to build your development. Our experience allows us to inform you of your potential planning issues from the early stages of design development. Such an approach saves many of our clients time in the decision making process, as we don’t leave your planning prospects to chance over an 8 week submission.

We work closely with many planning authorities to achieve planning consent however at times we will differ in opinion. In this scenario we have had many successful cases of overturning refused submissions through the appeal process. With some complex applications, we will draw upon the services of our planning barrister who is one of our partnering consultants.
